A little about Consent Ed
Consent Ed was started by a group of passionate students, and it has expanded significantly since our inception. Today, we offer presentations to groups of all sizes on campus, engaging fellow students in honest discussions about consent and teaching bystander intervention skills that individuals can use to ensure the safety of others. We hope to bring change and awareness to Cornell University's campus.
In Fall 2018, a new presentation was developed and piloted to first-year students, while our Ambassadors received additional training to be able to perform such presentations. We are excited for the implementation of a large-scale dorm-based training of first-years by Consent Ed Ambassadors and the subsequent broadening of our impact at Cornell.

Through our Ambassadorship program, all members are trained to be facilitators within their own organizations throughout the Cornell community. Our Ambassadors come from all types of communities across campus ranging from Co-ops, pre-professional organizations, ROTC, Tri-Council, sports teams, fine arts and performance groups and many more! We accept applications at the start of each semester for individuals interested in participating. Please see our Apply tab for more information.
